About
MANERELA+ is a voluntary membership network of religious leaders living with or personally affected by HIV and AIDS in Malawi. Its overall purpose is to reduce stigma, silence, denial, discrimination, inaction and miss-action (SSDDIM) with the faith community through the involvement of Religious Leaders living with or personally affected by HIV/AIDS as agents of change at both congregational and national level.
Mission
We exist to contribute towards the 3 zeros through fighting SSDDIM in religious institutions, congregations and local communities in Malawi.
Vision
A Malawi nation where there is zero AIDS related deaths, zero HIV transmission, zero stigma and discrimination and its related vulnerabilities.
Goal
To overcome HIV AIDS, its impact and other health related challenges in the faith community through the work of Religious Leaders living with and personally affected by HIV and AIDS.
